Team App is open to DTSC parents, guardians, and swimmers. It is used to help keep club communication and squad notifications in the right place.
When you join, Team App will ask four questions. Parents should answer the questions labelled PARENTS. Swimmers should answer the questions labelled SWIMMERS.
If a parent and child are both on Team App, only the child needs the squad access group. The parent can be linked to the child and will receive the same notifications.
If only the parent is on Team App, the parent should make sure they also have their child's squad access group.
Use the parent-labelled questions and request the Parents group first.
Open the DTSC Swim Club Team App landing page. Anyone in the DTSC community can request access.
Tap Join and answer the Team App questions. Parents should complete the questions labelled PARENTS. Swimmers should complete the questions labelled SWIMMERS.
Once you are in the club page, tap the settings cog, then choose Access Groups.
Parents should request the Parents group first. If you want, you can request the squad too, or wait for an admin to assign it based on your answers.
When Team App asks how you want to join Parents, choose Player. This choice does not affect how DTSC sets up parent access.
Fill in the PARENTS questions with your swimmer's name and squad. If you missed them during sign-up, add them on the access request screen.
Parents and swimmers can request access to squad groups. Answer the question labelled for your account: swimmers answer the SWIMMERS question with parent or guardian names, and parents answer the PARENTS question with their swimmer's name and squad. If Team App asks you to complete both swimmer and parent boxes before it lets you request access, just put anything in the other box.
Parents and swimmers can request access to the relevant squad group, such as Academy, Competition, Fitness, State Development, or State/Nationals. Swimmers should answer the SWIMMERS question, and parents should answer the PARENTS question.
