DTSC solidifies their place at the Winter Warm-Up Series
DTSC continued their momentum into the second meet of the 2026 Winter Warm-Up Series, with another record-breaking attendance of 28 swimmers competing.
The team achieved even more PBs than a fortnight ago, with 56 personal bests and a combined total of 1:56.15 dropped.
We also continued our strong performances in the relays, with our A teams placing 2nd in the 4 × 25m butterfly relay and 3rd in the 4 × 25m backstroke relay.
Well done to Jasper for backing up his win in the 25m free SKINS event. He swam a breathtakingly fast time of 11.81, beating his time from the last meet by 0.23s. A big shout out to Alyssa for making it to the SKINS finals where she dropped 0.65s from her time at the last meet to finish 2nd. It was a very exciting watch!
Congratulations to Jennifer for qualifying for the State championships and Gabriel for qualifying for the Metro championships.
Alyssa and Jasper are both strong contenders to take out the age champion award in the 12-13 age group. We will be looking forward to see how they, and the rest of the club perform in the final meet of the series.
Fantastic job everyone - well done DTSC!
